There are quite many tricks, programs and extensions exist to download videos, (such as Free Download Manager; Internet Download Manager; Download Accelerator Plus; JDownloader; DownThemAll and the list go on), from Facebook, YouTube or any other site. But, here I am going to share with you two simple methods with no need to any of the ones just mentioned.
Method #1
1. Play the video on Facebook then right click the mouse button and select "show video URL" as in the photo below.
2. Once the video URL is shown, right click and select "Copy" or press Ctrl + C (Command + C for Mac) and then paste it into a new URL tab.
3. The link will appear like www.web.facebook.com/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
so replace the "web" with "mobile" to look like www.mobile.facebook.com/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
then hit enter. Thus the video will be open in full screen. Run the video, right click and you will see an option "save video as..."
Method #2
This method should be the easiest, simplest and the fastest.
1. Copy the video URL either from Facebook or YouTube then log on to savefrom.net and paste it into the field on the top of the page as shown in the photo.
2. Click the "Download" button on the right and you will get a list of all the available links.
3. Select any format to start downloading.
You should have the file downloaded by now in any quality selected.
