Technology has been growing rapidly lately with the manifestation of multiple smart gadgets. Although not every technological invention had our attention but there are still some noteworthy discoveries which can be useful. Having a touchscreen on your PC could be helpful occasionally, but not that enough to worry about changing your computer with a new one. Well then, that's the right time when Neonode Airbar stepped into the scene.
It is a small slim device that turns your PC display into a touchscreen just by plugging it into the USB port with no need to install any drivers nor do any standardization for AirBar to function, according to the Company. The module is more like a magnetic stripe attaches at the bottom of the screen and runs on 15.6-inch screen Windows computers and Apple's (with a limited range).
It is not indicated how the device works exactly rather than it emits an invisible light area across the screen which detects the user's touches and gestures. AirBar Sensor users then can use the full touchscreen function; they can pinch, swipe, scroll up and down and zoom in and out at ease. The device supports not only bare fingertips but also styluses, gloves and even paintbrushes.
The 15.6-inch version of AirBar will be debuted next month at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) and will be available on markets later on. It is going to be available for a preliminary price of $49 at the official website.
